This lesson aims at imitating a speech after reading a speech. During reading students are guided to understand the content and master the language features (i.e. metaphor, personification, quote, repetition, rhetorical question and simile) by reading the speech carefully. Then students are guided to write their own speech and try to use these language features in their speech.1. Understand the kind of the article; read fast to get the main idea of each paragraph; read carefully to understand the language features. 2.
